Hello St. Louis Revit Users!!

I know that if you are like me, it has been a very busy Summer season, with little chance to catch my breath!  The Construction industry in St. Louis is booming and most firms are crazy busy right now.

With that said, I know the STLRUG group has been pretty dormant since early summer.

 
So we want to kickoff Fall with a Learning Event and then try to have one more Happy Hour before the holidays are upon us. 

The STLRUG October Learning Event will bring in an old friend of our group to showcase the latest technology used for Construction Layout using the Revit model as the base.

Billy Marks from Topcon Solutions will show us the latest workflows using the Revit Model, BIM 360, Autodesk Point Layout and a Total Station to derive layout points from any element contained within a model and demonstrate how that information can be sent directly to the field and used for Construction layout on site.  This technology is becoming more mainstream, and will (in my opinion) eventually become the Standard for Site layout when models become a deliverable.  This technology can save countless man hours in manual Construction layout.
